Ive had my 285 about 2 months now and man i love it! It definitely has some horsepower! Great review, your video is what nudged me to get it and yeah runs dual shield beautifully!
I gave PrimeWeld a try about 6 months ago and I love my machine! I really think it’s probably the best machine for the money out there and I’m about to buy another machine from them, the Mig230, it’s a 4 in 1 multiprocess machine with a nice big touchscreen, I highly recommend PrimeWeld too!!

Don't know how to describe the amount of cleanup on the cuts really...there was the normal dross on the bottom but no bad gouges that caused me to remove steel from the plate to get it straight. The accessories are high quality...the MIG gun is excellent...the CCA ground clamp & stinger will last you quite awhile but you gotta connect the steel stamped ground clamp to a grinded clean surface with the cable connected side of the clamp on the side you've got cleaned for a good connection to prevent unnecessary heat buildup. If you buy anything extra at first it should be tips for the MIG & plasma. The warranty is better if you buy from the website but if you use Amazon I have a link to get credit for that too. @naiirdata I’ve only had time to use the TIG and Stick set up, so I didn’t think I could give a legitimate review yet. However both of those applications exceeded my expectations honestly 🤷🏻♂️ thanks for reaching out friend!
