I've had a Lincoln 211i for almost a year. Solid machine. Either one you cannot go wrong. I do some metal art work and even took a class where the Lincoln 211i machine was featured and it was first rate. A tip. If you are serious about welding...even as a hobby, go red or blue. Stay away from Amazon.
I believe the millers have a board issue, cause in my experience in the last shop i welded for, we had 2 fail… though they welded 8-10 hours a day, everyday. We beat them up. My Lincoln has been great so far, along with my 1999 ranger 8. They make a great machine, hopefully i continue to have great success with them. I’ve heard the new everlast have had awful board failures, i am constantly seeing posts on facebook about it as well. I’m glad to have an older 315LX

@moparmusclecars new miller is junk now man. They are all the same welders from china I know because I bought a cheap china welder and it welds the exact same as that miller. Same shitty little Chinese inverter same ground prong same duty cycle. Just buy a yes welder atleast you get a decent sized ground and full size stinger connection. For 2 thousand less dollars you get a better welder lol. Shits backwards. If you want a serious machine buy a ESAB It failed because the drive rolls spun out every 5 seconds. They get a little moist and spin badly. On top of that everytime I would go to weld it was giving me a error code and the machine took around a hour to trouble shoot and get working when I needed those brackets welded on ASAP RN got the owner of the stadium with me I can’t have my welders be failing in front of those guys ever man. Pissed me off I got rid of the millers switched to ESAB and the new Lincon buzz boxes for field welders and never looked back
Just used this welder brand new yesterday and failed me. Don’t buy this new garbage dainty little ground prongs a waste of money. Can’t handle the weather either.
